The Oakleaf Village Center is Coming to Life!

Let there be life! Yes it is true the Oakleaf Village center is finally coming to life. For the last few years many Oakleaf residents have driven past the half constructed houses near the Oakleaf Village Center and wondered, “what is going on with this place?” After the long wait, the houses are now being taken over by a local builder. The houses will be finished off to the original style and even better quality that what was planned way back in 2006. And the cost?… This is great news for the people who would like to buy in this neighborhood, now the houses are essentially half price! Some of the houses in there were priced well into the $400,000’s and today the new builder will be selling the houses ranging from the $170’s to the low $300’s depending on the size and features.

The current 6 houses in the Village Oaks subdivision, which is the single family neighborhood in the Village Center, are loaded with many upgrades and features. The houses feature upgrades like natural stone floors, hardwood floors, granite and corian counter tops, crown moulding, huge walk-in closets and much more. The southern charm and the attention to detail on these houses, make this a one of a kind neighborhood in Oakleaf Plantation. This neighborhood will be one of the few in Oakleaf Plantation featuring new construction homes and the only neighborhood that will feature this type of “Village Center” living.

There will be more details released on the builder and the available floor plans in the next few weeks, so keep your eyes open. In the meantime if you would like more information on the existing homes, you may call Mike Schwiebert, Realtor, with INI Realty Investments, Inc. at 904-562-9345.

Be a good Neighbor!

With many of the homes in Oakleaf Plantation being vacant many of the homes around us are looking pretty bad. If you would like to help keep your home values up, please be a good neighbor and help keep our neighborhoods clean. If you see the stack of phone books in the yard or the newspapers that have been sitting in the driveway for a month, please take a minute and throw them away.

Just a few minutes can help make a huge difference. Also a reminder to Oakleaf residents trash cans are to be in a concealed location according to the Home Owners Rules and Regulations. They are also removed from the street the same day your trash pick up has occurred. They may issue fines if the regulations are not followed. The home values have seen a decline in the last year, lets all do our part to make Oakleaf a desirable neighborhood and our home values should follow.

Keep our Kids Safe…. Slow Down!

Many people may not be aware but the speed limit is 15MPH through all of the neighborhoods within Oakleaf. I am sure many of you have seen your neighbors pulled over. Don’t be next!
